IRI Category Forecaster™ is a set of pre-defined sales and volume forecasting reports, charts and graphs for all IRI Infoscan® Reviews categories and sub-categories, delivered on a quarterly basis. It produces three year forecasts, at the RMA, CRMA, total region and total US level for each category based upon five years of historical POS data from grocery stores, drug stores and mass merchandisers. Category Forecaster provides retailers and manufacturers who need to better understand future category trends, access to quantitative and unbiased forecasts of sales and volume with on-going quarterly updates of actual versus forecasted performance. Category Forecaster also provides vital category insights alongside future forecasts such as Private Label share, Category Size, etc. It leverages the power, quality and coverage of IRI InfoScan to enable retailers and manufacturers to arrive at breakthrough insights, make better decisions and realize breakthrough results.
